11 Land Use and Agriculture
11.1 Introduction
A desktop
examination of the study area combined with local knowledge
has provided an overview of the agricultural land and the
agricultural practices within the study area. While the study
area is divided into two sections, North and South, the character
of the agricultural land, the soil type and the farming practices
are common throughout the entire area. The land use constraints
are shown on Figures 18 to 20 (Drawings 00229/034 to 00229/036).
